We see digitization as an opportunity for our company to offer our customers new products, digital services and easy access to our offerings. We also want to use digitization to optimize our internal processes. In the long term, the aim is to use the opportunities that digitization offers us in a changing competitive and market environment to strengthen our position though increased efficiency and provide exemplary service to our customers.

CONSTRUCTION

  • Various development fittings for some universities, e.g. high pressure, high temperature and dosing fittings

  • Spring-loaded sealing systems, whether soft sealing or metallic sealing variants
  • Low sump bottom outlet ball valves
  • Version with heating and cooling sleeve for a variety of our products

Coatings

We are constantly researching new coatings, e.g. to increase the operating temperature, in order to be able to operate our products reliably and safely even in critical application areas. Our close contact with universities and development partners also ensures continuous improvement of our products.

Digital resume file

Ball valves can be very similar when viewed from the outside, but sometimes they differ greatly in their internal workings. In the future we will therefore document our customer-specific ball valve data in a digital life cycle file. This includes product specifications and production history, description of equipment condition (assembled actuators etc.), maintenance information as well as acceptance and test reports. For our service technicians on site, the file is quickly available via WEB portal. This also allows our customers easy access to relevant information. A QR code serves as a link between the digital file and the specific ball valves.

QR Code

All ball valves receive an individual serial number. This ensures quick and easy access to all relevant ball valve data. These are stored in the digital life cycle file, and by a QR code at the ball valve they are retrievable on the tablet or Smartphone. Thus not only technical data, but also the entire ball valve history, maintenance measures, acceptance and test reports with photos are always at hand. We will offer this service for every ball valve in the future. There is also the possibility to integrate already delivered ball valves retroactively.

3D Printing

We are constantly researching new solutions. We have begun to optimize processes to make 3D printing profitable. To this end, we are implementing optimizations to reduce weight while maintaining component strength and complying with all relevant standards and regulations. We also evaluate the use of hybrid manufacturing techniques to combine the advantages of different manufacturing processes.

Early fault detection

What are the critical components of a ball valve? How can a failure be diagnosed at an early stage and which sensor technology is required for this? Is it possible to predict damage or failure? And how long does it actually take until this occurs? Condition-oriented maintenance plays an important role in the development of new ball valve series with the aim of making maintenance predictable.
